1. What is your role and what does it involve?
I am the Technical & Innovation Director, looking after Customer Technical Support and new Product Development.
2. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a career in this field?
I worked in Quality Assurance in the Food Industry initially, but living close to the mill at Beetham I was always interested in it and took the opportunity to join.
3. What inspired you to join our team at Pelta Medical Papers?
I was interested in the large scale manufacturing process and the technical speciality nature of our products.
4. Tell us about a professional success story you're proud of.
Lots of them and enjoyable for different reasons! Worked to introduce the technology & products that became the PurePeel range. I implemented our ISO14001 Management System and also negotiated the site Environmental Permit, the first Integrated Pollution & Prevention Permit in Europe. I’ve worked on several divestment projects, these are challenging and all different, but nevertheless enjoyable.
5. In your opinion, what is something Pelta excels at?
Our speed and responsiveness to help our customers and willingness to be innovative to find a solution.
